Chinese Immanuel Church has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ, and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Bible as the Word of God and the only rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct.
We commit ourselves to:
· Cultivate a personal relationship with Christ.
· Worship God joyfully.
· Grow spiritually through the study and application of the Bible.
· Build caring relationships with each other within the family of God.
· Emanate the aroma of Christ so that the church is a positive witness for Christ.
· Raise a new generation of children and young people for Christ.
· Encourage friends and neighbors to follow Christ.
· Support the larger mission of the church in the community and abroad.
What makes this church unique is that we desire to practice the priesthood of all believers. This belief does not preclude other truths about the church. We believe that the aspect of the priesthood of all believers is essential to our ministry and calling.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20.
