One in the Spirit.
God's people should be one in spirit, but not necessary in opinions. Each one is entitled to his own opinion as long as it does not contrary to biblical principles. Each one is entitled to their own preferences.

God provides leadership among His people, because He does not expect that everyone will see the same thing. From a practical point of view, not everyone knows what is going on in the day-to-day operations of our church. God chooses leaders to lead-to the right direction. The Building Committee is a channel to bring us toward this end.

A natural result of church's growth.
Secondly, to have our own building is the natural result of church's growth. To plan ahead means that if something happen to the church (in this case, if we are no longer able to meet at our present site), we do not go backward to the starting point; rather, we can maintain our current situation and go forward.

Hopefully by now, we all can agreed that it is not whether we should go ahead with the building project, but what is the best way to go about in finishing the project.

Top 5 Reasons for building a facility:

1. We are growing. Room too small for Holy Communion. We need to anticipate church capacity growth and we need rooms for real growth.
2. We need a permanent home. A sense of home and identity. A place we can call "home." Use the place as the "family" members wish to worship, fellowship, and have other recreation activities. The rent we pay can be used for paying on our own building.
3. We need space and the flexibility to use the facilities to meet needs. Able to extend Worship time, able to start lunch on time. Ability to host visiting brothers and sisters, and access to facilities during weekdays.
4. We need playground for children. Keeping children cooped up in a classroom for 3.5 hours is just too long.
5. We want to widen God's kingdom to attract more people to come and worship God.
