Purpose:
- To track the number of attendance in Sunday
Worship Service, Sunday schools, Holy Communion, and weekly meetings
including Wednesday prayer meeting.
- To use the number of attendance to estimate the capacity of
church building.
- To use attendance statistics to determine the basic requirements
for church building facilities.
Current Reporting Period:
- January, 2002 ~ March, 2002. We will continue to track attendance
for 1 year.
Statistic Analysis:
- Sunday Worship Service is usually over 100, in the range of
90 ~ 114.
- Sunday Schools is in the range of 66 ~ 95.
- Holy Communion service is in the range of 58 ~ 85 (attendance
tends to correspond to size of the meeting room).
- Wednesday prayer meeting in the church is in the range of 26
~ 36. On 01/30, the prayer meeting was held in three brothers
and sister’s house, with 11 people in Cantonese speaking
prayer meeting, 13 people in Mandarin speaking prayer meeting,
and 14 in English speaking prayer meeting.
- Saturday Youth Fellowship is in the range of 23 ~ 33.
- Weekly meeting attendance, such as Saturday Cantonese Fellowship
and Sister’s Fellowship, are currently not available.
- Lunch fellowship will be the Sunday Schools attendance (during
Holy Communion, the number would be addition of seekers and children
Sunday Schools inclusive).
- Since it’s hard to tell which cars are our brothers and
sisters’, we count all the cars in the parking lot. It may
very likely include those from the Baptist Church members, which
is usually around 10 during our Sunday worship hour. The number
of cars in the parking lot is usually over 65, in the range of
61 ~ 74.
Ratio Analysis:
- Number of Cars vs. Number of People Attending Sanctuary Service:
67/103 = 65% (Including all the cars in the parking lot)
57/103 = 55.3% (Excluding approx. 10 cars from the Baptist Members)
- Number of People Attending Sunday Schools vs. Sanctuary Service
79/103 = 76.7%
- Number of People Attending Wednesday Prayer Meeting vs. Sanctuary
